The misrepresentation of parenthood in culture had left more than half of parents feeling like failures,with 60% feeling the pressure from social media to be the ‘perfect parent’.
As the world’s purest baby wipes, WaterWipes stepped in and gave parents self-belief through the power of honesty. #ThisIsParenthood was a brutally honest documentary project that captured the lives of parents around the world in the first year, celebrating their messy reality.
We embraced the daily struggles, chaos, mess, loneliness, love and joy with a series of honest and inspiring films and visuals that disrupted parents’ feeds, tackled taboos and started conversations about the realities of parenthood.

Lockdown then took parenthood to a whole new level and WaterWipes have never been afraid to tell it like it is. We became cheerleaders in parents’ messy reality offering hope and understanding to show them they weren’t alone. We created a series of posters and social posts that appeared at the times and in the spaces they needed them most.
